Such a Curious World ...
The wonders of nature are endless, and the oddballs often prove the rules about adaptation, natural selection, evolution.  That's why it's interesting to study the organisms that do strange things -- the "evergreen" pine tree that turns yellow and drops its needles in the fall; a frog that freezes solid and lives; a tiny mammal with a poison bite.  These are just a few examples of the many curiosities to be found in the natural world ...
